Search within your HubSpot account

In HubSpot, you can search for tools and assets in your account, including CRM records, blog posts, marketing emails, dashboards, and specific account actions, with the global search bar in the top right-hand corner of your HubSpot account.

To filter your search results, click Filter next to the search bar, then select the checkboxes next to the results you want to filter for. 


Below, learn which attributes can be used to search for different tools and assets. If you're searching within the CRM, learn more about how the CRM search functions.

CRM

• All CRM records can by searched by:
  • Record name (including first and last name for contacts)
  • Notes
  • Email subject
  • Associated tasks
  • Call logs
  • Meeting logs
• Contacts can be searched by:
  • Primary email address
  • The default Phone number property
  • Mobile phone number
• Companies can be searched by the Company domain name property
• Custom object records can be searched by any of the object's properties
• Recorded calls can be searched by title, call notes, or terms included in the call transcript
• Tasks can be searched by title

Please note: when searching for contacts, companies, deals, tickets, or custom objects, HubSpot's search will return a maximum of 10,000 results. If you have a large number of records in your account, create a saved custom filter to refine your search results. 

HubSpot assets

You can search for your assets, such as website pages, marketing emails, and lists by the following asset details:

• Blog, landing pages and website pages by title or URL
• Marketing emails by title or subject
• Campaigns by campaign name

Settings

Use the global search bar or the left sidebar in settings to search for your settings by the following terms:

• Setting name
• Setting description
• Setting keywords
